The inaugural line-up of what promises to be the UK's most diverse alternative music festival, Alt-Fest, has had two new big names added to the already impressive roster.
Gothic-doom giants Paradise Lost have been announced as Friday's metal stage headliners, while US punk metal act Amen have announced their reformation for the festival and will play on Saturday's main stage.
Amen frontman Casey Chaos had this to say about the band's appearance:
"I'm proud to announce that AMEN will return to play an exclusive show at Alt-Fest, a festival done by the people for the people. We are looking forward to performing & transmitting the sound from the heart, from our homeland communist America and destroying ourselves for your pleasure."
Also announced are: Mesh, Savage Messiah, Finntroll, Krokodil, Stormbringer, Agonize and Parade Ground who join an already impressive line-up boasting acts such as Combichrist, Peter Murphy, Marilyn Manson, Arch Enemy, Peter Hook and The Light, as well as Cradle of Filth, Fields of the Nephilim plus many more.
