Greetings one and all! It's a new month and what a way to start it. This weekend saw the release of Laibach's latest opus 'Spectre', and what an album it is. We'll have a review of that this week for you to get stuck into.
You may have noticed over the past two weeks we've had no weekly round-ups. Well there was good reason for that in so much as two weeks ago I happened to be celebrating my birthday, and last week I was at the lovely Holy Mountain Tattoo getting a bit of ink. Normal service will resume again this week though.
I'm going to keep things brief this week as I want to get a few reviews done. If you direct your eyes to the 'About IVM' tab, you'll see below the FAQ that we are introducing advertising rates. This decision has taken some thinking about and hasn't been taken lightly. We would like to continue to grow our audience further and to do that, we ourselves need to advertise, and the best way for us to create an advertising budget is to sell some space ourselves for a small fee. This will also cover other incidental costs that have arisen recently and will allow IVM to continue as an independent and not-for-profit zine. These will come into play in April, so if you want to advertise on IVM, make sure you send us an email and let us know what size advert you want and how long you'd like us to display it. We don't have much room for adverts, so we won't charge much. Just enough to be able to let us advertise elsewhere in turn. So labels, shops, community sites etc. email us!
In other news: The Tumblr page has a had a revamp and looks a little more dynamic and more in keeping with the main site. This was something I meant to do last Summer, but it just plain slipped my mind. So if you're on Tumblr, check it out and follow us
Finally, if you are interested in writing for IVM please direct your attention to the tab at the top of the site marked 'Writing For IVM'. Especially if you are a film buff.
