IVM Sponsors Dystopia's "Monster Apocalypse"

Dystopia, Birmingham's clubnight dedicated to Ebm, Industrial, Trad Goth and bits of Gothic Metal and 80's/90's pop are having their traditional spooky annual spectacular.

Located in the depth of Eddie's Rock Bar in darkest Birmingham, the monsters will come out to play on Friday 11th October, and we at Intravenous Magazine are very happy to plug such fiendish shenanigans.

“As always, interpretation of the 'Monster Apocalypse' theme is completely open- be any monster that takes your fancy, a post-apocalyptic survivor or why not go for something a bit military? If dressing up isn't your thing no worries, but it'll definitely be worth the effort this time- our lovely friends at Beat:Cancer have donated some awesome prizes for our costume competition to go along with the usual alcoholic winnings.”

DJs for the night will be DJ Zombie Chris of Peterborough club night Recall and DJ Dktr who'll be representing Intravenous Magazine (who will also be snapping all your great costumes for our gallery!).

Entry fee will be the usual £2 before 11pm, £3 afterwards and with an additional £1 off for Rock/Metal Society and Eddie's membership cards.

For more information, check out the Dystopia facebook page, and the event page.
